Constipation With Meds?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Do any of you get really bad constipation? To the point of being in agony when needing to go for a number 2? I'm on amatryptaline and naproxen. Used to be on sertraline but had to come off that because it didnt work. Does anyone know how to stop it?

When I was on Tramadol I would be in tears using the bathroom. I started by taking two cod liver oil caplets at night. Once things settled I went to one at night to keep things even as it were. The natural lubricant made the difference for me. It also helps joints, so arthritic pain is reduced, so win win. Xx

Seems like everyone is suffering from the same problem and sounds like its the drugs fault. Why do you continue to take the tables when they make you ill in other way. Just because the tablets are legal dont mean there good for you. I live with the pain and use naturel products that come straight from the earth. Not theres man made nasty drugs that kill you in other ways. I feel sorry for everyone suffering out there.

I'm on amytriptaline also and it is awfully constipating. Try activia yogurt. Two a day and fruit with lots of water. Any foods that are known movers. Such as cabbage beans etc
