Members shared enthusiastic support for medical marijuana as a pain management tool, with several describing it as highly effective for chronic pain, depression, and insomnia, while others expressed frustration about living in states where it remains inaccessible. Several members offered practical guidance, including starting with low-THC or CBD-only options to avoid psychoactive effects, experimenting with dosages (such as 40 mg daily of CBD), and exploring both medical cards and recreational options where legal to reduce costs. A recurring theme was relief and hope among those who have found cannabis helpful, paired with solidarity for those still waiting for their states to legalize it.

I have used CBD which really helps with my pain. Avoid any THC because that is what creates the feeling of being "high." CBD does not have any side effects. It is legal in my state and I do not need a prescription to get it. I have just experimented with the dosage to see what would work for me. The dosages are in 10 mg pills or edibles. I usually take 40 mgs per day. I can take more if needed. I like it because it has no side effects and dosage depends upon how much pain I have.

I use most days, helps me deal with pain and depression and i eat for insomnia. Have been a card carrier for years, but now that it is legal in Washington for recreational also saves me that expense.
