Does Anyone Have What I Call A "piggyback " Effect, When Your Fibro Is Flared Because Of Another Illness?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

In addition to the fibromyalgia, I have spinal stenosis with complications and Abdominal Migraines. When I experience a crisis of one of my illnesses, it usually makes my other illnesses flare as well.

The PAINS!!😞😨 I suffer from daily chronic migraines (not ur typical type), CFS, depression, anxiety, osteo & degenerative arthritis, etc... By 2nd day, that's when I know I have infection & see Dr. that day for antibiotic s. Oh my dear, my heart goes out to you. Please try to stay WELL OK? Gentle hugs (((((()))))))

Thank you for asking. Abdominal Migraines are as extreme as my fibro but took much longer to diagnose and I will elaborate more when I actually write my profile story.

Abdominal Migraines are exactly what the diagnosis states: Migraine in the abdomen, but more specifically the pain is located dead center of the stomach itself. I do suffer from IBS, ARD, GERD as well as Cyclic Nausea/Vomiting Syndrome, which can often exhasberate my fibro and spinal stenosis, etc.

When I was diagnosed by a Neurologist, he explained how like fibromyalgia I would have to help educate other's. Including Medical Professionals at every level and he was correct. If you would like a book reference definition you can Google it he said. I hope my explanation was helpful and again I thank you and I send warming gentle hugs.
