When I applied for Permanent Disability I was told it would take a minimum of 2 years and they always deny you the first time. Now I went for my Heart failure, but The dening the first time still applies. I know people that were denied twice for fibro before they got it. I hope this helps. hugs

I was diagnosed with fibro and bipolar disorder at the same time, so they didn't give me any problem approving my disability. My daughter, however was turned down for years and after following through an all the appeals, she got approved and received back pay. It was worth it in the end. Keep after them, follow through. If you are depressed or anxious, it might help to update your application to include that.

And still have not heard anything. Am I being hasty in wondering the decision?
