I was just going to ask if anyone was having problems with their legs. I find that I have to elevate my legs nearly all the time now. I find it difficult to sleep as well due to the problems with my legs.
I just have to lay down, sitting doesn't help. I am blessed cause I can get back up & go again. Maybe u could try magnesium? Especially hour or so before bed. I try to take something an hour before bedtime so it has a better chance of helping, when I know it will be a tough one. Sometimes a bath with epsome salts help. Hope you find something that helps & get relief soon.
Yes! Standing is absolutely the most painful activity imaginable for me. My lower back seizes up and the stiffness and pain just travel up my back into my shoulders. Luckily my job is very sedentary, but my inability to stand makes it hard to do any number of chores and tasks. It's also very hard to socialize when you can't stand. Cocktail-type parties are the worst -- people stand in little groups to chat, and they aren't willing to sit down even if chairs are available. I find myself feeling very marginalized as I sit by myself off in the corner.
Yes I have neuropathy in both feet and up my legs. Plus at the beginning of Dec. I Fractured my left knee, so the better of both my legs is broken and I have no strength in my arms or what so ever.
For me: I have learned that if I think about how much it hurts to get up or move, it is tougher to get going. So I think about what I have to do & before I know it I'm on the move. Sending gentle Hugs & heart smiles to you.
