Hi Katy
Yours might be diverticulitis. That's where damaged pockets and lumps form through your colon. It's pretty common, but can get out of hand. I never knew I had it until I read a ct scan done while checking for a hernia. 4 years later. Adjusting some things in you diet might help.
Happy new year!

I have had that same pain for over a year! I've been told that it is right where the colon takes it's final turn. I just chalk it up to IBS these days. I've been assured it is not kidney or ovary, thankfully. Like most others have said, get it checked out! especially if it lasts more than a few days.

Could definitely be costeochondritis. I have it at least 3-4 x a year. Just last week in my sternum right between my breast last week. It hurt so bad for two days that I thought I was having a heart attack. Take some ibrophren or some anti inflammatory and use heat or ice. Which ever feels better. Hugs

I tried "gentle" yoga but it got harder and harder so it was no longer gentle. I did feel good right afterwards but 2 hours later....the pain was horrible. Its just not for me!
