Members overwhelmingly confirmed experiencing intense hunger when fatigued, with many describing powerful cravings for carbs, sugar, and greasy foods as the body's attempt to quickly access energy from familiar sources. Several members shared the frustrating paradox of eating to combat fatigue only to feel queasy, nauseous, or unsatisfied afterward, with some noting they feel more thirsty than hungry when pain and fatigue worsen. A recurring theme was the challenge of managing these cravings while trying to maintain weight and activity levels, especially when exercise itself can be painful and forming new eating habits feels all too easy.

Yes!!!! I feel like I could go through my entire pantry. I get extremely thirsty when my pain & fatigue worsens first though.

@A MyFibroTeam Member @A MyFibroTeam Member I do get cravings for something sweet or greasy, when I'm fatigued (which seems like all the time) but feel nausea after I eat it. I'm trying to keep weight down now that i'm home all the time and not getting a lot of exercise. It hurts me when I exercise so hard to talk myself into it. It is very easy to make something a habit, and I try very hard not to start a new one.
