Yes, big time! I don't generally have issues within my family because we all have allergies and so are sensitive to others, but I had a coworker who continued to use a vanilla musk lotion even after I told her it was making me physically ill. I would never do that to another human being, and she was one of those people who preach about going to church, but lives without a Christian lifestyle. I finally had to submit my resignation to get her to stop. Then my bosses stepped in and made her aware she would be the one leaving if she couldn't be considerate of her coworkers. She of course lied and said she was totally unaware that it was bothering me.
So you are not alone, it can be actually debilitating
I can be fine on minute and the next couple of hours my face and nose is itching like mad driving me mad . I don't know what sets it off because it can be different everytime perfume , soap, aftershave, deodorant anything . So frustrating and unable to control. My face is red raw some times .
Me too , always have been. I have issues with other people's perfumes. It is a crap shoot when going to the theater or some place where there are assigned seats !! I used to get severe migraines that would land me in the ER. They've gotten better since I've gone through the change. When I was working I had a co-worker who passive aggressively wore a perfume that made me so sick ... It took me 6 years to get her to stop !!! If she wore it on my days off I could smell it on the telephones the next day ! Those were tough times when people had no compassion....
i find i am very sensitive to smells too. i also find some over powering and make me feel sick. coffee some days the smell is so strong i can barely drink it. i thought it was just me.
I love my team, I have so much trouble with all of that and I can't even use perfume! I am always isolated, it is lonely!
