Members managing both fibromyalgia and bipolar disorder emphasized the critical importance of staying connected to others and avoiding isolation, with many noting that when pain and fatigue push them into hermit mode, depression quickly takes over. Several members shared practical strategies that help them survive day to day, including taking medications consistently, staying in regular contact with their medical team, pacing activities to avoid flares, maintaining routines with the help of pets, and practicing stress relief methods like The Sedona Method. A recurring theme was leaning on faith, hope, and self-advocacy to endure the relentless cycle of pain and mood swings, with members reminding each other that they have survived worse and can continue pushing for better care and a better life.

and oh yeah, I relax with my dog and cats. They are awesome to nap with and having them helps keep me on a schedule. Even if it's only a short walk, the dog has to go out and the cats will let me know if their dinner is late. :)

We can do it with him! I will continue to pray for you barbie500! When I first got sick in 2014 with fibro I would lie on the floor in the fetal position crying. Now I'm able to stand n do things even tho Im hurting. The majority of time people have no idea I'm even sick and thats God's grace

Honestly really the only thing that helps me survive is Jesus. There are so many obstacles we all face with this disease and others. My faith is what keeps me from giving up on everything. I enjoy the small breaks from fibro when I get them. Short but still thankful
