I know fibro affects a lot but can it cause bone pain all over the body? Not just joints but deep bone pain, achy and tenderness. Any way I move hurts deep in my bones, feels like they are bruised. What are your thoughts?

Members overwhelmingly validated the experience of deep bone pain throughout the body, with many describing it as feeling bruised or beaten, confirming this as a common fibromyalgia symptom. Several members emphasized the critical importance of ruling out other serious conditions like rheumatoid arthritis or cancer through proper medical testing before attributing bone pain solely to fibromyalgia. A recurring theme was the challenge of finding effective pain relief, with members sharing mixed results from medications like tramadol and oxycodone, while heat therapy emerged as a widely appreciated comfort measure.

Most definitely! I have achy bones especially just before it is going to rain. I have an old knee & ankle injury with arthritis, but I know my fibromyalgia makes it hurt even worse. My shoulder joints and bones in the surrounding areas hurt a lot of the times. I find that heating pads or my heating blankets are the best thing when my bones hurt. I have a heating fitted mat for the mattress and a plush heating blanket with a couple of quilts on top of those, so it gets very toasty inside. I usually only have the heat on my legs since I have RLS really bad. I started taking Requip, 1 mg at night which has made my RLS almost disappear for first time in 18 years. Now I just have the fibro pain in my legs.

Absolutely! My bones literally ache, the pain is deep and I have been known to say to people I feel like I have been beaten and bruised with a baseball bat all over my body. Fibro as many, many different symptoms and for each person, it can be competently different from the next. Your not alone. ::gentle hugs:: Love & Light, Angel~

My skin feels like it is on fire if my clothes touch it. On some days I can't take a shower because the water hurts so much like I am being beaten. Muscle pain is pretty bad and I get pain in my arm pits also. Head to toes hurt on those days.
