Sending you hugs Denise. Fully understand how the stress gives you flares. Same thing happens to me. It totally throws my symptoms into overdrive.

Yes, stress definitely makes fibro worse. During stress the body contracts muscles.

I'm a 'cissy Southerner' (or whatever you lot up North call us these days lol) but my godfather was a Lancs man and spoke in much the same terms, so I got what it said as soon as I saw it. Best times I ever had in recent years was living in County Durham, folks were so nice up there... down here around London so many people are just grinding their teeth all the time...
I've always thought that this was true. I've had stress all my life and if I get anything at all now to stress me or cause anxiety (which is very easy now) then the pain reflects this. Fibro makes us so sensitive to everything, it's like our senses are working overtime. Love and hugs. :)
