I've been having pain in my hips, knees, and ankles for several weeks. I can not remember the last time I have been in so much pain. I've been using a heating pad and even tried a hot tub which usually helps but isn't touching my pain now. I don't know whats going on but this pain is differnt and way worse than usual. Please share what has worked for you if anything. I would try anything for some relief. Thanks.

Aspercream helps me. It doesn't take all the pain away but makes it manageable for me.

This may sound strange, but my husband bought me Wahl massager from walgreens. It does percussion and vibration/massage. When I don't have him around to actually put it on the knots in my back, I just use it on the bottom of my feet. OMGosh, what a difference! Of course, nothing takes it completely away. I have to warn you, though, when you put it on the areas of your body that hurt, you need to put it on a low setting, cuz holy somoly, it's painful! But afterwards, I feel some relief. The foot thing, though, is soooooo awesome!

This happens to me when summer hits. I soak my feet in epsom salts, nurofen tablets and gel. Sometimes tight clothes (socks) help as they cause new messages of touch rather than pain.

i have also tried BC powder for Arthritis. Not sure if they have it where you live but its pretty much just a powder form of aspirin.
