What do you think about making Sunday Funday? Everyone would write 3 things that made them smile, laugh, brought them joy over the last week.
Are you in my fellow fibro warriors?
It's so easy to get lost in the negative things that happen I just think it's good to remember the wonderful as well. Positivity is the key!!!
So who's in????
I took some time for me today!
1) I soaked in a tub of epsom salt with lavender. 2) gave myself a massage on my aching hips 3) and I took a 30 minute nap. All done without feeling selfish or guilty.
Little late here, #1) Got our tree up last night. Yay!! Feels like such an accomplishment. .lol :) #2) Loving conversations with hubby after his hospital scare, over this past week, gave me joy and warmed my heart to have heart to hearts with him and let him know just how extremely important he is to me! And, last but certainly NOT least! #3) would be the Joy I get from Jesus, whenever I talk to Him...I feel joy! Even if I'm in terrible pain, when I talk to Him, I have peace. I remember what a friend of mine told me years ago...whenever she's feeling really bad, she asks God to remind her how much He loves her...and ever since then I have been doing this, and I'm telling you if you do this, it's amazing the little, and sometimes big signs God will give you, to remind you of His love for you, and that he's right there with you!! Hope you all have a good week. Keep looking up! Keep taking care of you! Sending gentle and warm hugs to all of my Fibro peeps! XXOO :)
I broke down and finally got a smart phone but what makes me laugh is I have to call my 13yr old grand daughter to come help me with it and she doesn't even have a phone. She uses her dad's a lot. I'm making Christmas cards and presents for special people in my life and that has made me happy this week
Today has been a good day....Went to church, lunch and then made Christmas Cookies and to top off watched another of the new Hallmark Christmas shows this evening. Best part was spending time with my best friend, my husband of almost 50 years. Thank you Lord for all the good years!
