I'm having a hard time swallowing food. It feels like my throat is too narrow.
And when I drink, everybody can hear me.

@A MyFibroTeam Member Yes I have to have my water beside me or I feel I would choke to death. When I was first diagnosed, the research I did said it was from Fibro. Yours may be something else so I would get checked out by your doctor. Hugs

I had the same issue. Mine turned out to be because some of the meds I was taki caused dry mouth. My doc and I switched meds around and I don't have that problem now. You can look up the side effects of your meds on webmd and see if any of hours can cause dry mouth.
@A MyFibroTeam Member, I'm surprised your gastro didn't order an EDG. She shouldn't just assume it's from the IBS. Hopefully your family doctor can help
I was told that it is due to muscle weakness from fibro. The action that should allow you to swallow is inhibited. Very annoying when not able to swallow my own spit.
Have you discussed swallowing issues with healthcare provider. Could be something or not. Good to get it checked.
