Helped me too. Calms me down when I start to lose it (emotions) and helps me get to sleep. I was a medical marijuana patient here in Oregon until they legalized it. Grow your own (it's just a plant) and save money. Make your own CBD massage oil. If you can grow tomatoes you can grow pot.

When eaten marijuana's effects last longer. When vaporized you get the immediate effects without the smoke. So it is much easier on your lungs.

It's gotten to the point where you really want to hold on to seeds (if u can get your hands on some) of the strains you find helpful, growing is fairly simple to do indoors(with lights) or out (in season). Finding recipes and delivery systems(not everyone wants to smoke it) can develop into a full time hobby. It's far easier to commit to a group venture, sharing between friends is very popular. Since trying a few medical grade varieties i can see benefits, eg. sleep is better, appetite, and to a degree, vitality. Unfortunately it does little for pain, although it has helped me reduce my opiate use and greatly aided me with withdrawl symptoms.
