Members shared overwhelmingly positive experiences using medical marijuana for fibromyalgia pain and anxiety, with most emphasizing that it is not addictive and works better than traditional pain medications. Several members described practical approaches including edibles (particularly 10mg doses that last all day), CBD-only options without THC to avoid feeling impaired, cannabutter made from non-THC parts of the plant, and evening use with heating pads for deep relaxation and better sleep. A recurring theme was frustration with legal barriers and pharmaceutical industry resistance, paired with hope that this natural alternative could replace expensive pain management programs and potentially harmful prescription medications.

You wouldn't need to see the pain management Dr. anymore, if you did the medicinal marijuana. I get the Suckers (like a hard candy or chocolate). Just 10 mg lasts me 12 hrs!!

I have been on it for more than 6 months. It does help with the pain, BUT, it takes over my head, leaves dizzier, disoriented etc. I am deaf, so have used my other senses & my focus is intense. I have decided I will deal with pain & fatique, rather than be dah. sincerely Mary Canada

No Mary, it is not addicting!! If I am having a bad flare day, I DO, and it works wonderfully. I do the edibles, just 10mg when I get up, and lasts all day. No goofy side affects at all. Feeling blessed, I went this route!!
