I have been twitching, had jumping limps since January 2016. It was thought it was a side effect from amitriptyline, i was taking for chronic migraines, as I was taking 75mg of it a night at the time and had only been back on it a week. I was swapped to propranolol instead and told it may help the twitching. It didn't and neither did it help the chronic migraine. That was stopped last month as it wasn't helping after it was upped.

Yes!!!!! Yes!!!!! I have it all the time. Especially at night. Restless legs syndrome.but I call it Restless body Syndrome. It seems to strike when trying to settle body to relax. When this happens the legs, arms, my body twitches, jerks, etc just because I'm trying to calm down. I've noticed it happens when I'm upset jerks and twitches start up because of stress. It takes abit to slow it down, usually I have to take a muscle relaxer to help. I was at my bank I notice I was in the ted $3.06 I was embarrassed. My hands started jerking bad, my voice quivering and twitching when she said its because your in the red we charge $45 to your account, then again 3 days later? She said that's right. I couldn't speak arms were uncontrollable. I couldn't write my own name. Where's the kindness? Like I'm sorry this happened let me talk to my boss to see what I could do. Is their something I can do for you? Anything would of been nice, nope just doing their job. I walked out before it got any worse. Yes their humiliated to say the least especially when you share your bed! So eventually he would uddle me with kisses, that stopped them fast.
Hi there, have you got diabetes ? It could.be your nervous system under attack? Angel hugs gental hugs
yeah, for me the nerves in my legs start going crazy making me get up walk around then my feet get numb, very frustrating.
Yes I have had twitching in my legs for a couple of years now I thought it was down to my brain operation but my consultant never seem to think it was related, so it is either the medication as I have been on amtriptyline or the propranolol and now on nortriptyline and it still happens, so I now think it is fibro related. I sometimes also lose feeling in my leg and if I sit when I am bending my knees, I get terrible cramp. Getting into the bath is a nightmare.
Hope this helps!
Restless legs syndromes, can affect other limps. Amitripiline didn't work for me but oxazepam 60 mg settle those nerve twitches.
