How do you relax? I listen to music. Writing also helps. But other than that I don't know what to do.

Members shared a wide variety of calming activities that help them manage stress while living with fibromyalgia, with the most popular strategies being phone games, coloring books, music, television, prayer, crafts, and spending time outdoors in nature. Several members mentioned that gentle movement like walking or swimming provides both physical and emotional relief, though many acknowledged that pain and fatigue sometimes limit their ability to engage in activities they once enjoyed. A recurring theme was finding whatever small moments of joy or distraction work on any given day, whether that means mindfulness meditation, puzzles, hot Epsom salt baths, or simply sitting outside in the fresh air.

I love to get outside in the fresh air and go for a walk!!! Not fast and somedays I can only do one block but it just feels so good to get outside! It clears my mind lots of times instead of just sitting thinking of things and getting stressed out or depressed. I had to put my dog down in July so I lost my walking partner and it hurts tremendously! I find I don't get out walking as much now because I felt I had to take him out when I had him and I find I'm getting lazier and fatter by the day which makes me even more depressed!! Again, oh the wonderful life of Fibro!!

Swimming is great for fibro. I also love to put puzzles together but I like the Hallmark interlocking kind because I get them framed.
