Anyone have any advice on best type of shoes for fibro? I'm a pharmacy tech so I'm on my feet all day. Also do you have a different fibro doctor other then your PC? Any herbal or regular supplements that seem to help with fibro? Has anyone found any specific clothing that helps or feels better then their normal during a flare up?

My family makes fun of me, but I love my Crocs! They are my around the house shoes...when I've even been wearing sneakers, my feet and whole body are happier to be wearing them! I bet you could find a nice pair for work.
For my I also wear Sketchers, Yumi, Natural organic shoes. They all have natural materials and wonderful memory pad insoles. As far as meds yes, I agree that natural good supplements are best. For me I have more issues along with the fibromyalgia. I did use them in the past but situation has changed. My hubby has used Glucosamine Chondrotin triple strength for 20+ years along with aspirin he is luck because it continues to work well for him. For my this didn't work. Please remember what works for one doesn't always work for another or stops work and you need to do the trail and error again to what works best for you.
Dansco and Chaco brand shoes are the only ones I can stand to wear
Skechers Go Walk 4 are the most comfortable shoes ever! They have a yoga mat liner.
I use Chinese herbs only because I get a better result from them. I got them from a Chinese acupuncturist. They are for pain and better blood circulation.
All really great questions! I hope you get some relief soon.

I can respond to two of your questions. I see a rheumatologist for the fibro, not my PCP. He is very knowledgeable about the disease and has been treating me for osteoarthritis for years. I take Biotin, Vitamin D, B12, and magnesium. they seem to help. I take a very mild form of pain killer - nabumetone - and tylenol for pain. I take many other meds, including Lyrica, and usually the pain is under control.
