I'm due my flu jab now. Has anyone had adverse effects from the jab? I feel so bad today can't even lift a cup. I know the importance of the jab, but can't even think of feeling worse.

Members shared mixed experiences responding to concerns about adverse effects from the flu vaccine, with most reporting mild and temporary reactions like a sore arm, swelling, or small lump lasting a few days. Several members described more significant responses, including one person experiencing a six-inch diameter of redness and swelling requiring a follow-up doctor visit, and another sharing that their medical team advised against the vaccine due to their autoimmune condition making it too challenging for their system to handle. A recurring theme was the acknowledgment that individual reactions vary widely based on personal health circumstances, with encouragement to rest, monitor symptoms, and consult healthcare providers when reactions seem more severe than expected.

What is a flu jab? I've been having trouble with the inside of my elbow and can barely pick up things. Have a good day.

That kind of reaction does happen to some people.Hopefully it will get better in a few days. Try to take it easy and just give your body the rest it deserves.
