I am going to try Malic Acid with magnesium and see if it helps. I have read positive things about the use of malic acid and am wondering what experience others have had with it.
I went to the nutrition store recently. The lady told me the malic acid helps the magnesium work. And all of us with fibro need extra magnesium. May take several months to feel a result. Gentle Hugs!
Malic acid is what saved my bacon. I got to an ultimate low with the fibro 6 years ago. I read research by three teams of small samples of people with fibro. about 90% of them found an abatement or lessening of pain. I had nothing to lose so I began it. It works. You have to start off slow. Take 400mg morning and night for 4 days. Then take 800 mg morning and night for 4 days. Finally, take 1200 mg morning and night as long as you want. I ran out one weekend and within 36 hours the pain came back and I felt like I had been hit by a big truck. That is all it took for me to ttally believe in it.
Pass the word around. Malic acid works! The cheapest option is through Prohealth.com. I used to buy mine here in Cape Town from a health food place, but found it cheaper through Prohealth. Now whenever I go to America, I stock up for a few years.
If you want to know how it works, you can ask me or look it up for yourself.

Hell yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went from bedridden with fatigue to normal functioning!
I get through more in a day than most of my friends who are normal.
You have nothing to lose!
@A MyFibroTeam Member how much & how often do you take it?
Thanks. I see it is sold in capsule form and bulk. Bulk seems a lot cheaper and I can put it in capsules myself. Is the bulk stuff okay or is it only used for food?
