I've just had another ultrasound done on left buttock & now will have more cortisone injection in hip area. It is okay for a couple weeks, then hurts again. I've actually been having remedial massage. Full body with emphasis on buttocks. Geez it hurts, but it really works for at 6-8 weeks. I don't like drugs. They make me woozy, brain dead & I don't think any really fix anything. Just mask the problems. I was taking so many pills to "help", that I ended up in drug rehab for 3 weeks to wean myself off all the crap. Now I am very particular on what I will take. Absolutely No sleeping pills for me. I end up a walking zombie. I hate cortisone as well, but the docs don't have any new miracle yet.
Omg yes!! Has anyone been to a doctor about it. Sometimes mine is so bad! Is it fibro related?
Yes! This happens to me every night. Just as I'm falling asleep I have uncontrollable jerky feeling and my body jerks it takes awhile to relax and feel sleepy again. I think it may be my medications causing this uncontrollable feeling.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I get burcitus in both hips and shoulders if you see a rheumatologist they can give an steroid injection into the areas that hurt which will reduce the inflammation
