Members connected over the frustrating experience of nerve pain that travels through the thighs, with many tracing their symptoms back to chronic back issues like herniated or bulging discs where compressed nerves radiate pain down the legs. Several members described the pain as burning, aching, or feeling like their skin is on fire, often worsened by touch, tight clothing, sitting, walking, or menstruation, with some experiencing sudden leg spasms or collapse. A recurring theme was the shared struggle of finding relief and the need to adapt daily life by wearing looser clothing like skirts to avoid triggering the intense sensitivity.

My thigh pain was my first fibro symptom. They ache and burn on the inside and my skin hurts to the touch. I only wear skirts now because of thigh sensitivity.

I experienced the same type pain, it feels like your skin in on fire and the pain is deep in the soft tissue on the outside and inside of each thigh. Sometimes mines are so bad I can't think straight. I can't have anything tight on my legs anymore. I can barely touch them at times.
