Members strongly validated the experience of upper back and shoulder blade pain with tingling, sharing that this is a common fibromyalgia symptom that can start in one area and spread throughout the body, sometimes triggered by physical activity or inflammation. Several members described practical relief strategies they use, including cortisone injections, medications like Trypteline and Celebrex, TENS units, massage therapy, and over-the-counter lidocaine patches recommended by doctors. A recurring theme was the unpredictable nature of fibro flares that can strike anywhere at any time, met with deep gratitude for a community where members don't have to face these frightening symptoms alone.

With me, the pain starts in my legs. That's why for my early years of Fibro (in the 60's) I thought is was growing pains. The pain radiates from my calves upwards and downwards until my whole two legs are engulfed in pain. Slowly the pain touches base with my arms, my shoulders, my feet and my hands until my whole body is engulfed in pain.

My right shoulder has given me great pain for the last month. Had cortisone injections and taking meds. I also don't know what else to do. Hugs and prayers. Connie

Yes I do. Especially if I have used my arms a lot that day. Mine burn inside the muscle too if that's possible

That's another constant pain source for me. Aching and pressure in shoulders, shoulder blades, front and back.
