Do you take sleeping aids every night? And what if you do?

I tried Amitriptylene and it didn't work at all. I went back to my Trazadone and added Melatonin and I'm having some better nights now. I guess what works for some doesn't work for others.

I take a muscle relaxer an hour before bed to relax, the trazadone at bed time. Once I fall asleep I stay asleep most of the night.

And I couldn't take trazadone at all. Everybody has different chemistry and responds to medicines differently.

Amitriptylene has been a god send for me. My friend mentioned it to me and I put the bug in my doctors ear and he agreed with her! Then my rheumatologist increased it and I haven't slept this good in well over twelve years!!! It is amazing!!

Waiting for Nortriptyline to work for me. Only on 10mg a night at the moment. Amitriptyline wasn't working at 75mg for me.
