Is anyone extra sensitive to vibration? I can hear the vibrations from machines at work and at home. Mostly from a/c units and it just goes through me so much I have to remove myself from the area and come back later or if I am at home put earphones on.
Yes. I am especially sensitive to noise and vibrations. I can also hear a high pitched whine from halogen lights no one else seems to notice. If I know there is going to be loud noise ( if I have to see a movie in theaters, going to meet someone in a loud café) I bring earplugs and the expectation that I might leave early, and certainly with a budding migraine. Have you tried playing music you like or an audio book - this can force your brain to focus a bit more on different noise. Also a small electric fan or fountain ( that doesn't irritate) can help with focusing to get through the work day.
Also consider high quality black out curtains ( for outside noise) or soundproof glass windows if you can afford it. Also consider noise cancellation headphones for car and bus rides.
Fans don't bother me and much it's just machines that cause a heavy drone sound with vibration that kills me.
Can't stand noise. Makes me crazy. Carry ear plugs in my purse.
I have the same issue, if a bee flies around me, I hear the buzzing all through my body, my air conditioner noirs radiates through my body. Odd
I'm so sensitive I can hear a lady bug or a spider in the room. Before my sensitivities, I wouldnt hear trains in my back yard.
