I am currently taking generic Elavil. I can still stay up all night! Does this mean I am becoming immune to it's effectiveness? Also, I take metformin, Januvia, glipizide and lisinopril and several other mental health drugs! I read the caution concerning this drug. @A MyFibroTeam Member, please research how to wean off of Cymbalta properly. If you don't it can be very dangerous...the withdraws can be horrible π¨
I don't know what any of those are but if they are SSRI's I would look into getting off of them. I was on Cymbalta for 2 years and it added several new health problems so I got off of them. They were horrible trying to get off of...they don't tell you the horrible withdraws you go thru π
Maybe a dumb question but why do you want to get off of Cymbalta? Does it help? Not help?
I talked to my Dr today,he said it takes like six months to get off it.with the weather getting cold I have to stay on it til next dpring
One of the best things I take for fibromyalgia is flexeril. If I don't take them I can hardly move the next day. I can't take gabapentin- feels like I'm being shocked all of the time. The flexeril doesn't seem like it helps much because I still am in much pain- but when I try to do without it- I see that it is helping more than I knew!
