I do feel that fibromyalgia is progressive. This could be a result of the other conditions that I have, however, I agree that we go through stages.
I have found that the problems of fibro personal and everyday issues are not just me. I do not feel so crazy anymore. well as normal as fibro will let you be. Prayers to you all. thank You for speaking out, it helps so much, I do not feel so isolated.
I'm subset 8, and I also agree that FM is a progressive disease, I've seen it in myself and the drastic decline in my health since being diagnosed in 2012....
I agree to there being Fibro stages. I also feel it changes day to day, and if I've been too physical or active. It feels good to act somewhat normal....but you pay for it for days after.
Yes, thanks for posting! This is so interesting, and makes so much sense! I am very clearly a #6. I can't believe I've never heard of this before, since the article was written 9 yrs ago and I try to read so much about fibro whenever my brain allows. Personally, mine did not progress. I woke up with all of it, full blown #6, overnight in 2005. No previous problems at all. Nor has it gotten worse since then. I do a much better job of coping and managing than I did in those first years, though.
