I am nauseous almost daily. I thought maybe I was taking too many meds together but I've split them up a bit and still I am nauseous. I am hungry but nauseated and it makes me not want to eat. I'm wasting away over here.

Members widely related to the experience of constant nausea, with many attributing it to medications, fibromyalgia, migraines, or pushing too hard physically. Several members shared practical strategies that have helped them manage it, including eating small frequent snacks (especially cereal, fruit, or ready salted crisps), drinking lemon and ginger tea, and taking anti-nausea medications like Promethazine or prescription nausea tablets from their doctors. A recurring theme was the importance of keeping something light in the stomach, paying attention to food triggers, and asking doctors for medication trials when nausea becomes debilitating or affects weight and overall health.

Hi JustBrooke, Yes, I actually have nausea medicine that I take as needed. I can't even taste the food sometimes and especially when I am a lot pain or under stress . I have no appetite and I lost so much weight, to point it started to affect my heart. I got me some protein drinks and I drink those in between meals. I hope that answers your question so take care and keep well.

Yes I go through periods where nausea is a problem, for which I've been given some tablets to take to help. It seems to go round in cycles, a few months OK then a whole month of nausea where I just can't stomach food. No real explanation but mine often coincides with varying other migraine symptoms (vertigo, pins and needles, numbness, faintness, aura and visual disturbance or if I'm really lucky the full blown migraine!) so they put it down to the migraines. All my doctor could do was give me meds to help and to pay attention to my diet incase it's food related.

Yes i got through phases, have done since i went cokd turkey on amitriptyline last year. I am hungry when nauseated too, but only for certain foods, mine is cereal and fruit. My GP suggested ready salted crisps might help and they do but only after cereal. I lived on cereal for 3 week for breakfast dinner and tea. Sending hugs it's not nice I was given a travel sickness tablet to take but haven't done as of yet which is suppose to help x

I get nauseous and had a lot of heartburn. I thought it was a side effect of the meds.
