Hydrotherapy
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Had my first hydrotherapy session yesterday which went fairly well but then all day I was having muscle spasms in my hips! Anyone else experience this after they've been?

A messroday, the theory behind Hydro therapy supports your weight while you are in the water so you can use your muscles with out the burden or strain of body weight, the warmth help ease the tention in your muscles and can relieve pain and increases blood flow taking nourishment inandtoxins out.

I heard they do have that effect on everyone. But it gets easier. But I could not find it so. I joined an aqua class instead. I only do what I'm capable of each time I go. My energy level improved. Gentle hugs everyone.

I wanted to say to all of you who posted and are interested that my Physician's Assistant in the Orthopedics department referred me to the hydro therapy.

I have had much success with hydrotherapy. I know it's important to use my muscles in some form everyday and it seems using my legs in arms in the water seems to lesson my pain and to keep my muscles stronger and to not let them atrophy.
It's hard at first, but after awhile it should become easier.
Blessings..
