Hi, I get PIP and I did it through the help of a site called www.fightback4justice.co.uk. They are a group of lawyers who will answer your questions all pro bono, and if need be, will go to your appeals meeting if that occurs. The site is full of questions that others have asked and answered. There are step-by-step instructions on how to fill in all the forms and how to jump through all the hoops. I forced a home visit, because of the site I was able to actually read the handbook for ATOS given to the teams and saw that I was entitled due to anxiety and depression, but also mobility. I had my meeting sitting on my couch. I know of others who have had their interviews while in bed. Check it out, it cannot hurt, and if you are short on cash, there are no site fees.

I recommend this site to all considering or have applied for PIP/ESA. Most UK Fibro sites recommend as well for help when applying or needing information on considerations or appeals

They will walk you through each question on the forms and how to properly answer them to gain as many points as possible.
They make you think about things you now have to adapt in your life and take for granted as the new norm but could actually gain you points.
There is also a members forum where you can ask questions on how to be more specific in relation to Fibro to include on form

I have used the site for all my forms successfully and without the need for a medical. My daughter has also used it and got her awards.

Another option is to go to CAB to speak to their benefits advisor who will help you fill forms in though I feel the website more beneficial as there are members with Fibro who understand how it affects us and can help with more detailed answers for questions

I am going for it now , I've had to go to tribunal, I have another friend who has fibromyalgia and she got it straight away, but they said no to me , but I'm fighting it 😩

I've just put in for it , waiting to hear , but my friends sister has it and she has fibro, I has to have a medical for Esa too and was put in to the support group , which is so much better because I don't have to keep getting sick notes anymore 😌

I do receive PIP but I also have Hypermobility and Arthritis. I put everything down on the form, all my symptoms, all the things I struggle with and I do it for how I am on my bad days, I did have problems getting the DLA to start with, before the PIP came in but I appealed and took it to tribunal and won.
