Restless Legs
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone know why this comes on every evening. ..It's even in the soles of my feet. Is there anything I can do to help it?
I would be interested in anything that has helped others. ....Thanks in advance x

I have a cream called Restless Legs Cream from Magnilife. I rub it on my calves and the bottoms of feet a couple of times a day as needed. It seems to help a lot. Also, I take potassium and magnesium, that seems to help as well.

Yes.....and in my hands and arms. I am quoting from http://www.healthline.com/health/fibromyalgia/s...
"Many women with fibromyalgia get a creepy, crawly feeling in their legs that wakes them from sleep. This condition is known as restless legs syndrome (RLS). RLS is much more common in people with fibromyalgia. About 33 percent of people with fibromyalgia have RLS, compared to only 3 percent of those who don’t have fibromyalgia. RLS disturbs sleep, and it can lead to daytime drowsiness."

I use ropinorole 2mg every evening. Recently my doctor found extended release and that helps me all night.

You have my sympathy. This is an awful sensation.

From what my Sleep doctor told me, Restless Legs are just another symptom that folks with fibro has. :( I never knew there was actual meds for it though. Sure don't want to bring it up to him though because I have enough junk to take.
