Epson salt soak baths - 20 minutes daily, heat pad, jade stone bed with heat, cold packs, Magnesium Spray, anti-inflammatory cream, Arnica massage oil, Magnesium 400 to 500 mg, Dronabinol 5 mg 4 times daily, CBD oil from Hemp or preferably from marijuana if legal in your State or Country, T'ai Chi for movement and circulation, yoga modified, meditation, high protein, Kale smoothies every morning, etc. I try everything and do everything just to attempt to manage the pain. No pain medication will stop the pain completely usually just about 20 percent, and in some cases will increase the pain as it can impact our dopamine levels. Keeping the CNS calm is key. The heat feels good because our bodies loose their ability to regulate hot and cold sensations and circulation. My hands and feet are always cold and when our pain is up typically our hands are colder or like the Artic as my husband will say. Great question.
Yes heat definately helps @A MyFibroTeam Member, I'm looking in to purchasing a heated throw for me to wrap around me on my really tough days☺️ xx
I think I will Purchase a heated throw for the winter ,But I could use one even in summer when I have a flair up.
I take Gabapentin 3 times a day which seems to help but in between apply heat directly to the area which gives me some relief xx
The Epson salt help a little bit then I can't get out the tub
