Lyrica for me was a NIGHTMARE. Even though it did ease the nerve pain (only nerve pain) I gained 30 pounds in less than 3 months. I about went nuts. I was angry all the time and went into rages also. My fibro Doctor actually told me yesterday that it sucks because lyrica is really the ONLY thing that works for Fibro , but by the time you get moved up to the mg that you need to see a big difference in the pain you have gained tons of weight and about lost your mind. He said so would u rather end up in jail for hurting someone or try something else for pain. It really does have bad side effects for some people and the more mg the worse it gets. Good luck to you.

Is that gabapentin?.i am going to ask about other pain killers because the ones I take aren't helping I need stronger ones but after reading up on side affects and other medical conditions I could end up losing out.

I mainly use ibrophofen or napraxen but that got changed for me today I also have embrel injections.paracetamol don't touch me what so ever.hope this helps.i have used tramadol but very high strong pain killer.

Hi I'm on lyrica they do help with the pain but I am on other meds as well. I also have transdermal patches and at the moment gabapentin as well. It is frustrating to try and get the meds right and it takes a while but hopefully you will get there soon x
