Anyone who have tried medical marijuana? Which strains have you tried and what worked for you?

For generalized pain try ACDC. Blackberry Kush is great for sleep and it's chalked full of CBD. Harlequin is great for joint pain. Blueberry headband for headaches. Redwood Kush for ladies w fibromyalgia+menstration.

Hi Yes! I started about 6 months ago and being new I'm still exploring strains but I've found Great White Shark , Panama Red and Blue Dream to be fantastic so far. I did try Blackberry Kush as Alexandra B131 mentioned as I hear often it's good for pain but for me it gave me headaches but I suffer from chronic headaches and migraines so I'm very sensitive to lots of things and Kush strains seem to dislike me. LOL so I'm not saying don't try it I think you should since it's great for most people. I recommend going to leafly.com which is the best site and app. It has every strain, their medical benefits, side effects if there are any (like headaches for me or paranoia etc), the amount of THC and CBD they contain, growing info if you want to grow your own if that's legal and more. I use it to find new strains to try and you can even make a profile (anonymous if you want) to save favorites and leave reviews. The user reviews are fun to check out! I wish you luck, it's helped me way more than my pain medication! :)

@A MyFibroTeam Member ACDC is a strain of marijuana that's known to be very good for pain relief. :)

@A MyFibroTeam Member, I can relate to that as a few strains cause me crazy anxiety & paranoia! Luckily there are a zillion strains now and you can research them ahead of time and they can tell you if they cause paranoia or anxiety or not. Since that happened and I was told where to find info on the strains I've not had that awful experience again. It was terrible! I'm very very sorry that happened to you. I hate to think you'd miss out on really great effective pain relief due to it. If you want to try again one day go to leafly.com, it's an app too where you'll find every strain, their medical benefits, their side effects if any, user reviews (so if it's causing that to happen people will tell you that in a review), the amount of THC and CBD in it and more. However you might like CBD oil which is the part of marijuana that helps pain the most but without the THC that causes the high so no anxiety or any of that and it's totally legal everywhere. It's actually given to children with seizure disorders and cancer and people with things like MS by doctors to help their symptoms and pain. It comes in oil form for vaping or liquid to ingest, some make it in edible form in foods and it's even in lotions that are great for pain. You may find that this helps you with your pain and no more worries about anxiety attacks. :)

Thanks for the reacc. I've been using various strains of indica and indica blends - mostly to help with sleep. I have not found a strain that is very helpful for pain.
