Has anyone ever tried Protandim? A friend of mine said she "had" fibro and now she is symptom free. I have a hard time believing her because she is selling it from a MLM company Life Force . They are big here in Utah and I'm a skeptic when it comes to these kids of companies and products. Any experience?

@A MyFibroTeam Member I've been at this sense 1991. I hate to burst your bubble but everyone always thinks they have the cure, especially when they are selling their product! And, it's my experience and opinion when they say they no longer have fibromyalgia, they probably never had it in the first place. I think fibromyalgia has become a dumping ground diagnosis for unexplained symptoms. When I first got so sick I was desperate to find a cure and feel better. I put out the money (which I didn't have, because I had to stop working, no income, no diagnosis) for a stupid membership to, I think it was Herbal Life? vitamins because they would cure me! Sorry, but that's my experience. In the early '90's the cure was schizandra berry tea, then Noni juice then whatever else. Honestly, maybe well intentioned, maybe not, it's a way for people to make a buck. Fibromyalgia is real, it's not something that just goes away. Don't get me wrong, I'm not meaning to discourage you, just sharing my heart breaking, learned experiences. Goodluck. Let us know!
there is no known cure for fibro that i know of and i have tried alot of things that claim they cure fibro, this is a condition thats very hard to understand and hard to treat, i call what happened to this person a placebo effect because the information they post on their site state that they can cure fibro , even when no one cure exists, are there things that can help with the way you feel with fibro so you can turn around and take less meds yes, can they be natural things yes, i think that God gave us what we need to help our bodies heal and I am all for natural but when your fibro is something that adversely affects your quality of life meds can help with or without natural products, i am not saying that this product didnt help her feel better it probably has however everyones fibro is different and what helps one person ma not help someone else. I hope this helps and i plan on doing more research on this particular product
I am using an MLM product that helps, but if anyone tells you they are cured of fibro, then they never had it to begin with. Even though I have most of my symptoms under control after 7 years of treatment, I am always one stress factor away from a flare up.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome in 1991. I immediately desperately looked for a "cure" and fell for the mlm sales pitch. To be blunt, it's a lie. They may believe what they are saying that they "had" fibromyalgia and are now "cured" but it's not true.
Take care dear. π€πΊπΏπ
@A MyFibroTeam Member EddinsJone I agree. However, I'm still hoping something will take. So I'm very careful what I try. I do not want to give up.
