Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has used Norspan patches, and if so how they worked, any side effects etc? My Rheumatologist wants to try me on them and I was just hoping for some feedback.
Thanks in advance

Hey Kimberly, yes I started off on a 5mg patch..was good for a few days then I felt the pain coming back ..doctor put me on 10 mgs after a mth and the pain was still there after 2 mths so went up to 15 mgs ..same thing pain subsided but came back and I began to feel sick !! with the morpheine and I was more fatigued than ever so I never went back on them. I am at a loss as to what to do for my pain. tonight the pain in my hips is severe and I don't have any relief. im even battling to type this message the tightness in my hands and tingling in fingers just goes on and on.....all you can do is try Kimberly see what you think x
Lyrica really works. But you miss a day you feel it. If not worse.
Yes, I've been using Norspan patches for a few years now, starting at 10 mg patch. I most certainly know when I need to replace the patch, which is weekly. I'm now using 10 and 5 mg patches together. The only side effect I have had is from the alcohol on the patch which can be lessened by 'wafting' the patch just before placing on yourself. Hope this helps.
I wouldnt mind trying them..but I havnt heard of them, sorry hun.;-)
