Everyday I seem to suffer with really painful hands. My knuckles always hurt and sometimes it's so bad I can't hold anything.
I wanted to see if anyone had any tips or ideas of things that could help relieve the pain a bit.
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer

Members shared their personal approaches to managing painful hands and aching knuckles, with warm water therapy emerging as a common thread through Epsom salt soaks, warm compresses, and paraffin wax treatments that one member remembered their great aunt using for rheumatoid arthritis. Several members recommended natural remedies including arnica cream or spray, essential oil salves made with rosemary, cedarwood, and lavender, and alternating between hot and cold water to reduce inflammation. A recurring theme was the importance of gentle movement through carpal tunnel exercises combined with heat therapy, along with practical adaptations like jar openers and knowing when to rest hands on particularly painful days.

Get a parrifin wax machine and soak hands and wrap with towels. I remember great aunt doing tbis years and years ago for her Rheumatoid Arthritis. It works

Any kind of warm helps mine ( sometimes just warm wet compress); and of course when it's a bad day, trying to be more still & not over using my hands. I have all kinds of things to help me open jars ~ Hope you feel better today !

I find exercising them helps though I think I have carpal tunnel. But in any case those exercises would help you. Maybe if you look up Carpal tunnel exercises you would see some exercises to do and they would help. Before you exercise them stick them in warm water as hot as you can stand but not boiling. Also putting them from hot to cold water back to hot or relatively warm enough that you can stand would help too. Then do the exercises with them.
