Members enthusiastically confirmed experiencing sudden electric shock sensations, most commonly in their feet and hands, with many describing the feeling as being electrocuted or zapped unexpectedly. Several members shared that the sensations can occur anywhere in the body, including the sciatic nerve, shoulders, thighs, head, and lower back, with one member noting that a physical therapist attributed leg shocks to muscle fatigue related to fibromyalgia and recommended thorough warm-ups and cool-downs. A recurring theme was how unpredictable, painful, and disruptive these shocks can be, with one member mentioning a recent diagnosis of peripheral neuropathy as the cause.

Yes I do and it hurts so much! It usually doesn't last but seconds, but it feels like forever. I told my Dr. And was recently diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy. The electrical shocks are scarey and out of nowhere. Gentle hugs.

I get them almost anywhere, but not frequently. Just when you're least expecting. Zap!
