I'm from South Africa and I literally had to find my own lawyer just to get a small settlement from the firm where I worked and get them to agree to have me "retrenched" so I could claim my UIF.

A friend of mine in Wisconsin is on SSD because of her Fibro being so severe. It all depends on what worker you get to review your claim as to whether or not you'll receive it or go before a judge. If you get a sympathetic Judge then he/she will give it to you. Ask to go before a judge, I did for my Bipolar disorder and got it after fighting with social security for 2 years. I hope that you will finally get your SSD. Good luck and God Bless. Many hugs.
