Has anyone just stopped the medication prescribed by the GP's and used complementary medication instead?

I switched to an electronic cigarette 8 months ago and I found a liquid hemp on Amazon which has the stuff that gets you high taken out, it's from botanicals and herbs. I smoke it on and off for the hour before I go to bed and I don't seem to be waking up as many times through the night and my husband tells me my legs aren't as jumpy as I'm waking him up less.x

Yes. The drugs i was given made me feel out of it. After must reading and emailing to the research persons in america i have landed up on FIBROLIEF. an all natural drug they have tested in the states to good effect. Since obtaining this my fibro has become quite manageable but I would point out that it may not everyone.
From everything I have read and found out from using it , it is not an instant cure but but takes time. I still occasionally take pain relief but now lead quite a "normal " life. Still get the brain fog etc but it has been manageable. I also had to think about my foods and exercise although the latter can be difficult but does help.

I dont take any prescription medication for my FMA i did titrate it down gradually and feel im much better for it. Personally i found that these pain meds have side effects which need to be controlled and then you end up taking more and more drugs to counteract the side effects. Its a vicious roundabout which I wasnt willing to ride anymore. Everybody is different but if you really want to stop you need to seek medical advice 1st. 😁😁

I haven't taken any apart from an antidepressant which has helped with some symptoms, I take naproxen if pain unbearable that's all. its taken me a few months to learn to manage the pain, and going back to work next month, however I am nervous about that, it's the fatigue I find difficult to control .
