I went to a Neuralogist and he tested my for MS..I did not have the lesions on the brain...but I have had many attacks..of the burning prickling on mostly left side of body alot of times . and I do have Trigeminal Neuralgia so the Neurologist said even though I did not have the lesions he would treat me as a MS patient..

Sorry to hear that but at least you've got an answer. And maybe they can find the proper treatments

Hi Claudia, I also have neuralgia on one size of my face, but it's called glossopharyngeal neuralgia. I to was interested to find out the same. Hugs as I know what your going through x

I have had Fibro now for 25 years just developed Trigeminal Neuralgia on the right side of my face a year ago.The Fibro is under control but, the facial pain is unreal !

They tested me for TMJ, the test was so painful. My ex husband has MS and it actually mimics fibromyalgia in a way. Hope you feel better soon.
