When I was on holiday last week for the very first time I got a few mosquito bites I'm back 9 days now and there really itchy and no sign of disappearing is this normal ?
Hope you had a great time on holiday and Fibro didn't cause too much interference to your enjoyment
I tend to be a magnet for Mosquitos especially my ankles..and you are prob like me n react badly to them for ages afterwards with the itching
Worse thing you can do is scratch one because it's like a chain reaction to the rest of them lol
Few tricks I have tried
Rub them with mouthwash - the alcohol in it will help
Or try toothpaste on them, a menthol rub or vinegar
It may take another few weeks for them to settle but these options are cheaper than heading to chemist
Gentle hugs xx
@A MyFibroTeam Member what I do when I get mosquito bites is to mix a little baking soda with water and dab it on the bites. This both helps to pull the poison out and stops them from itching.

Yes. When you have fibro everything that used to be normal is no longer normal. Sore muscles never become unsore, etc. I had itching on my chest (abnormal). Of course I scratched and made a mess of it. Had to get cream from Dr. It finally went away after 2 weeks. Abnormal is my new normal.
Such great advice! @A MyFibroTeam Member 😄
