@A MyFibroTeam Member I have this problem even with certain material on my clothing. Most days I walk around in my underwear and a cotton tight tank top. I can't stand anything rubbing on my skin. I also have Egyptian sheets or silk and I put a heavy blanket on top so that it doesn't move around on my skin. I take my sheets off the bed everyday and shake them out and put them on so there's no wrinkles. I have a routine every night.
Yes make sure u aren't cold. I noticed that being cold doesn't help any. I was taking amitriptyline to help me sleep but theh i couldnt go to the bathroom and got fat. But for some reason the moment i stopped taking all the medicine i was on i slept much better. Now i take the bedtime tea and girl i sleep like a baby.
I use warm soft light blankets.(.light fleece ) .for my sheets.. I use a electric blanket..but just to warm it up when I get in..then turn it off...I have a electric blanket that is not on top of me but looks like a sheet with corners..so it underneath.blankets..because the heat can reduce pain..and other symptoms..but I did find out for me..that blankets need to be light weight..good luck..gentle hugs your way..♥
Or try sheets over 300 thread count and or jersey sheet sets they are soft. I also use the flannel. The brushed flannel
