I see where others post about being tired but unable to sleep.

I however am tired all the time and sleep all the time. It's better now that I've been put on meds for my fibro. But boy howdy I could sleep for 14 hours and still need naps. Now I sleep a normal 8 hours. But still need a nap.

Members connected deeply over the question of sleeping all the time with fibromyalgia, with many describing a confusing pattern of either sleeping excessively for 12 to 14 hours yet still feeling exhausted, or alternating unpredictably between sleeping constantly and not being able to sleep for days. Several members shared that despite long hours of rest, they still wake up feeling as though they barely slept at all, with some discovering underlying issues like sleep apnea that affect sleep quality, while daytime naps remain necessary even after a full night's rest. A recurring theme was the frustration of knowing that poor sleep worsens pain, especially before important events like doctor appointments, yet being unable to control the exhausting cycle that comes with fibromyalgia.
