Well things haven't been going to good here. I was down last Mon and Tue and by Wed I thought I was dying. I ended up calling 911 and went to the hospital. It looks like where I have a bulging disc I'm on a nerve!! I feel like electricity is shooting down my spine into my legs and arms. It's messing with all kinds of things, even my lips feel weird!! I go to my chiroplactor tomorrow, is not sure what he's going to do yet, he wants to see my MRI' s first. I'm also taking my new pain meds, the… read more

Here in VA if you use any type of cannabis your pain doc can take you off all your meds. That's not anything I'm willing to go thro. I do wish chronic pain users could get a script for cannibis oil. But if they are cracking down on our legal narcotics, I don't see VA letting us use cannabis oil anytime soon. They test our urine every 6 months and count our pill when we go in for our visits every 3 months. I would try just about anything to relieve this pain and live a normal life. But it has to be legal!
Arkansas 66 i got the idea from an article i saw about putting onion on the soles of your feet. It showed a diagram of the different areas of your feet and what part of the body each one affects. So im assuming that whatever remedy you use soaks up through your feet. I thought it couldny hurt anyways. So i rubbed it on my feet and wore socks to bed. It felt a little better the next day. But the day after my feet, legs and back didnt hurt at all. Seems to take 2 or 3 days to work its way through. I also put a little on the base of my spine. My back and neck have no pain at all. Normally i have a hard time when i first wake up walking and using stairs but not since i started using this butter made of cannabis oil. I am not sure what the other ingredients are but i will find out.
Each person can react differently to medications. I cannot take any of the typically prescribed medications for fibro (Gabapentin, Cymbalta, Lyrica, Savella) as the side efforts only made me miserable, especially the dizziness (walking into walls) and brain fog. I am sensitive to medications in general. I do a lot of alternative therapies. At least I am getting some pain relief but wish I could have one day, heck one hour without pain!!! It's always there but with Tramadol at least less edgy. I think we will see a growing trend of cannabis oil being used. The growing problem with overdoses with opioids will cause the powers that be to look at alternative methods of treating pain that are safer!!!
Hope everyone has a good weekend!
I was going to try the cannibis oil but its too expensive, then I found this "Hops" flower herb (100 cap/310 mg) that I'm going to try out. I've been told it helps you sleep and relaxes the mind so it should help with the anxiety/panic attacks that I have. Has anyone heard or tried this? Stay tune for the next episode of "Beth, will it or will it not work for you?" ;)
I have deteriorated bulging herniated disc and sciatic never damage... Yes on flair ups the the pain is unbearable and it affects everything in your body from thinking right to walking steady... Chiropractors wouldn't touch me too risky was then sent to physical therapy learn some stretching and movement that did help at first it was extremely painful to do but worth it to me to be able to walk and think right and feel somewhat normal and no surgery...Now when I have a flair up I do my stretches and it helps me to keep moving.... Am so sorry your going thru this I understand all to well how you feel sending you soft hugs with much love God Bless
