Anything that causes withdrawal symptoms is considered addictive. Yes that includes caffeine

I've been taking morphine for a long time. In winter they upped it to 3 times a day from twice. The only time I had a problem was when I was between pain management docs and my family doctor wouldn't give me a script. I went into serious withdrawal.

I've been on morphine it doesn't don't anything for me for the pain, it actually made me unable to sleep, my Dr says I have a high tolerance which would explain a lot for me personally. I truly believe each person is different and react to med differently. I think you should try it for at lease 30 days and see how you feel and what if any side effect you have, discuss all no matter how small reactions with your Dr. If you have been oxy for years I don't think you have anything to worry about but I say again everyone reacts different keep notes on effect/side effects good luck god bless

First off, doctors make a commission on these drugs thats why they would rather push these than suggest a healthier regimen. Morphine is very addictive. Just ask any street person. Why is it so much in demand for drug users if its not addictive? I have an elderly friend who was prescribed morphine. He said it made him delusional and he couldnt remember if he had taken his dose. So he stopped taking it. There are better options but doctors wont agree to that.
My doctor wanted to give me a lot of expensive prescriptions but refused to refer me to a specialist when i requested it. Hmmm wonder what that was all about?

A little over a year ago they had pain medicine reduced in tiers , I guess level a Dr can prescribe and that type of morphine look it up was to be the same pain level as Vicodin 1000mg with no tylonel .. high dose of tylonel works on a person's kidneys my mother had diabetes and severe leg pain with sores that never healed to her bone , had her to every Dr in Pittsburgh she couldn't place her legs down had to.be elevated at all times
.. well morphine didn't work it makes a personbslerp and feel depressed and i would think . It would be addictive I thought they gave it to only cancer patients , I worked in law firm seen all my cancer clients on that .. for fibro I said I might as well be a vegetable after 10 days i couldn't even get up, my personality was blah I don't tjink.itvtouched my pain I felt terrible I came back and said please leave me on the same med i.was on before that .. I couldn't take it .. I guess try it see how you do .. read up or get 2nd opion .. my Dr are wonderful they all know there meds and they try different for everyone I guess and a person should try and then if it not work ing or makes you sick have dr try something else .. mine always listen and try what works and read up on what you take ..
