Hi Christina. I am newly diagnosed and learned my very 1st valuable lesson last week! The week before I felt amazing so rushed around at work and went on more walks than I had done in months. However, a few days later a really bad flare up began. I have learned to be mindful of not overdoing things even when feeling well as i do not want to feel that unwell again x

I hate when i feel good because the next day you pay for it. Your body aches more than usual and you feel like it takes all day to recooperate. Thats why I am afraid to try to work again I will need a day off in between work days. I wonder how many employers will do that?

Hi unfortunately I get chronic fatigue all the time and I struggle when I get a good day I really make the most of it despite knowing its going to knock the stuffing out of me but its worth it just to have that 1day because they are rare and depends on what I am doing.i have had the tiredness for nearly 10 years and I absolutely hate it with a passion and kills a lot of my life off and with a flare up to all I want to do is sleep and shut everyone out.i can sleep for 12 to 14 hours and I know I have slept but I can easily convince someone I haven't slept.i look like a zombie half the time and takes me ages to be fully awake so for an example I can be up at 5 but not fully functional until around 9 I get a short spurt of energy for about an hour and then I am wiped out for the rest of the day like I have done a days work I have tried a lot of things like berocca well women for energy and immunity I have even tried proplus and others nothing works at all.i have run out of ideas for energy things as I have tried most things and don't feel energized I have even cut down on caffeine but it just sends me to sleep.i get to stay awake for a bit longer if I have a couple alcoholic drinks but I am not relying on alcohol to get me through.I hate being tired its my worst symptom.
