Please has anyone found the gluten free diet helpful to overcome extreme tiredness, difficulty to concentrate and joint aches?
I found cutting back (or eliminating, if you can) on sugar is tremendously helpful. Also increase protein.
When I went to an Herbalist years ago, she put me on a yeast free diet that was a gluten free diet. I noticed that my flare-up s didn't last as long. I don't cheat and when I accidentally am given gluten or there' cross contamination, I get very sick for 3-4 days. It's the same way for soy and dairy. Hope this helps you. I can't find anything to help my fatique. It's so discouraging. No wonder we feel depressed!!
With me I tried 3 different times. First 2 times it did a little something but not enough for all the costs and trouble involved then the 3rd time for some reason it got rid of my migraines and is helping my psoriasis and any skin issues I may have. I think if I did 100% gluten free and didn't cheat on it there could be benefits in the pain level some. I have no will power is my problem even with it helping my migraines.
