Has anyone successfully lost weight? I am supposed to be getting married next year and I need to lose 50 pounds to feel good about my body again and look great in my dress...

What have you done that hasn't pushed you too far?

I couldn't lose any weight until I started doing yoga. It is the only exercise other than walking that doesn't cause or worsen my pain. I actually feel better after! The best part is the good instructors encourage you to listen to your body and only do what feels good.

I became more aware of what I was putting in my mouth. The fibro affected my digestive track and I was always getting constipated so I started using Metamucil daily and I found a big difference in my stomach and gut area. If you do start walking make sure your posture is correct, stand up straight with your shoulders back, suck in your stomach and off you go It can be hard to keep your posture straight and your stomach in but keep it up, it works the stomach area. You will start to walk with confidence if you keep up the stance. It is such a good time of year to start walking, but do not push yourself too hard. Up and down your street came be too much some days but you need to give yourself a break and get back out there when you can, DO NOT give up! You can do it! Before i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and before my hubby got sick we used to walk 5 miles a day now we are lucky if we make it 1/2 mile....

The only problem I have with loosing weight is finding it again. Low carb. Tons of veggies. Exercise, exercise and exercise. I used an app called my plate to track calories.
